In December 2019, Unlad Ship Manning and Management Corp. had the privilege of attending the retirement celebration of Butch and Dot Darce in the United States. It was a heartfelt occasion, filled with appreciation, admiration, and gratitude for a dynamic leadership duo who made a lasting impact—not just on Taylors, but on the Filipino seafarers under their employ.

Butch Darce, as CEO of Taylors, and his wife, Dot Darce, as EVP, led with wisdom, integrity, and deep compassion for their people. Their leadership was not just about business—it was about building relationships, fostering loyalty, and creating a work culture that felt like family.
